Mission Statement
Meadowlark Physical Therapy Ltd. is committed to clinical excellence in providing quality, integrated and evidence based practice in the delivery of effective and ethical patient care. We are dedicated to functional rehabilitation that is patient-centered while encouraging personal responsibility for optimal health and wellness.
Our Clinic
Meadowlark Physical Therapy has three physical therapists and three support staff. Ray Jocksch and Kevin Button are the owners/directors of the clinic and Mara Shular is a physical therapy associate. Our physical therapy staff has the equivalent of 75 years of combined clinical experience. They have extensive post-graduate training and certifications enabling them to competently treat a variety of musculoskeletal conditions.
When patients attend our clinic, they can expect to receive treatments including manual therapy, manipulative therapy, soft tissue massage, traditional chinese (TCM) acupuncture, individualized exercise programs and educational discussions and printed materials. We are very skilled in the treatment of sports injuries, motor vehicle accident injuries, and work related (WCB) injuries. All physical therapists are currently registered with the College of Physical Therapists of Alberta. See link to 'Therapists'.
Location
The clinic is conveniently located in the Meadowlark Place Professional Centre and is close to the Misericordia Hospital. It has 2,000 square feet of treatment space, with 10 treatment beds, including one private room, a well equipped gym and a work conditioning area. There is ample free parking and public transit access. We are wheelchair accessible. See link to 'Location'.
